Add more rhetorical questions to engage with the audience. 2. Add more visuals to support what you are writing, or to provide more context to your story. 3. Add real-life examples that your readers can resonate to. 4. Try to replace overcomplicated words with more natural and conversational words.

Honestly, it depends on the topic. I’ve faced this a few times, and, funny enough, it’s often because the client gave poor references. In those cases, I just toss their inspiration aside and write in my own way, leaning on my research and instincts instead. Works like a charm... haha!!
