A brand stands out if it can deliver great value and satisfy the expectations of the buyer. Value can have different connotations to different people. For some, it be the aesthetic appeal, while for others it may be the longevity or performance. The best outcome for the product would be to over-deliver and word of mouth will take care of the publicity aspect. The new generation word of mouth being Social Media, companies are mindful of bad publicity due to quality issues. My mother recently told me that she is a fan of the online shopping platform 'Meesho' as it has an affordable and innovative product range. In this case 'Meesho' had over delivered with it's innovative model and product range, which appeals her.

To ensure my brand stands out in the digital shopping world, I focus on consistency across all platforms while embracing emerging spaces like Roblox. By creating immersive experiences in virtual worlds, such as branded spaces or digital clothing, I connect with younger audiences in innovative ways. Storytelling remains key—highlighting the brand's values and personality through interactive content. Collaborating with influencers and staying authentic across social, e-commerce, and virtual platforms helps the brand shine in a crowded digital landscape.

If you are promoting a high-end product or service which incurs higher investment & requires longer decision-making, ensure you give the highest quality to your customers. In the case of education, ensure students get a holistic package - from teaching, curriculum, training, global exposure programme, services support, mental wellness support & the like; engage with students, even after they graduate. One can see the brand distinctiveness from alumni members' testimonials.
