Keeping staff updated on all related information like weather, schedule, ETA/ETD, flight change/cancellation, etc. can help them deal with the situation in informative manner. Quick messaging apps, Walkie-talkies, & Intercom shall be used for timely communication of general updates and specific instructions. 2. Motivation: Staff should be supported with additional resources like extra staff, roving agents, manning extra counters/operator positions, etc. to support additional workload. Staff should also be motivated with refreshments, breaks, resting period to reduce stress.

Regular briefing to staffs before and after shifts , a centralised information centre, a real time mode of communication for staffs are methods which as a part of healthy work environmenment will help in dealing situations. Training of staffs to counter situations, formulate standard operating procedures for exigencies which explicitly define everyone roll, conduct mock exercises are all ways which will keep staff confident snd motivated in dealing with enexpected. Inter personal relation between the staff also becomes important when dealing such situation, observe a cohesion day for improving this.
