For preliminary analysis, SWOT must be performed to understand the Opportunity areas and the Threats which could be a problem to any project. Risk Management tools can be used to eliminate/ mitigate / live with the risks. Problems during execution should be handled with the basic tools like Kaizen and 8D approaches. If any out of the way solution is required then TRIZ techniques can also be utilised.

So the thing that always sticks out is how to get them involved without making them feel.....lost. 1. Make it simple, sometimes these are guys that have the answers. 2. I led a group of teammates in an effort to discover where our processes were bottlenecking and the learning experience was priceless. I called it "cross-pollination" instead of cross training. We weren't trying to learn how to do someone else's job. We were trying to understand how they did their job and how it impacted the entire process. We are in the throes of putting together a Town Hall and it became evident that our team did not understand the assignment when given one-sided direction during a recent meeting. This is probably the most important point of any problem solving. This excersice is to find the problem, but it also there to learn and teach future generations. I feel fo a long time that people see this process as a "let's find who is responsible"? This is the last thing this process is about. Don't hold back information, always be honest about what you did or what you saw, this helps the process go quicker but also in turn helps us to learn where we might have gone wrong.

I have found it extremely helpful to have a debrief after an event in order to go over what went well and what didn't. This is especially helpful for recurring events with many players involved. This allows us to take the learning moments and implement new practices, systems, or even individual players in order to avoid the prior pitfalls.

I can't do my work In the first option, one will give preference to the laptop repair.
