What are the key differences between data analysis and data science?

Data analysis in microbiome and biological research involves exploring and interpreting datasets generated from various biological samples, such as microbial communities, gene expression profiles, or clinical data. Descriptive analyses, statistical correlations and presenting data using heatmaps or dendograms are the basics.
