Start with a Clear Project Scope: Begin by defining your primary objectives for implementing robotics and set measurable targets. This helps in creating a focused roadmap for integration. Choose Compatible Systems: Since new equipment needs to align with existing technologies, it’s crucial to select systems that can integrate seamlessly with your current setup. Invest in Staff Training: A skilled team is essential for successful robotics integration. Providing necessary training to your staff in operating and maintaining new equipment can greatly enhance performance.

I have learned in my 20+ years of doing automation design. start the process at the beginning of the build process. First step is take all the parts that are going to be handled in any way with robots and put them through a "Design for Automation" process. This will save you time and thousands of dollars on the back side just in the tooling required to move the parts and locate and fixture them. now you can start the process of work flow and and processes. remember to keep the big picture in mind. Robots can do more than one process in each alotted time cycle.
