As a manager, while having above qualities it’s crucial to remain unbiased, logical, and empathetic, look for root cause when addressing conflicts. The Avengers illustrate this well: despite their personality clashes, they succeed by embracing their differences, showing respect, and working toward a common purpose, reflecting the concept of team chemistry.

Instead of using the term "conflict," I prefer softer expressions such as "counter views" or "divergent views." That said, I believe it is the shared objective that unites a team with differing perspectives. The leader's role is to ensure the team remains focused on this defined objective. In fact, fostering divergent views is essential for driving innovation, but it must be done within a balanced framework. A leader, therefore, needs the skill set to encourage diverse perspectives for the sake of innovation while simultaneously guiding the team toward the shared goal. This balancing act is undoubtedly challenging but critical for success.
