The employees that you have hired will have a personal connection with you, hence they will not hesitate to give a clear picture of if any changes are required, or any strategies need to be implemented. This would be more clear and positive. Next process would be to ask them to rate and provide genuine reviews on online platforms. This seems like a small activity but will definitely yield positive results.

Hopefully you will have 1-2-1-s in place, along with appraisals, and final exit interviews to capture any negative experiences. If seeing this negative feedback in print is a surprise, review that employees journey, and also review the people processes you have in place.
