Use positive language and avoid being negative or critical. * Let your team members know that you are there to support them and help them achieve their goals.

One thing that is often overlooked is the importance of listening. A study by the University of Minnesota examined the listening ability of several thousand students and working professionals to conclude that no matter how carefully the individual thought they were listening, they were able to recall only about half the content. Building good listening habits is crucial to working collaboratively and welcomes team members to share their expectations and feedback. An open door only works when communication lines are also open.

The first thing I believe should be listening to the team mates patiently and attentively. Secondly, the team mates must be given an opportunity to express their point of views. Thirdly , by understanding the prospective, feelings and expressions of the team mates. After all,if one has to work in a team and lead that successfully, then the person must think of all these points to ensure sustainable development.
