Listening and taking feedback from all of them will help you a lot as well - remember, you do not need to respond to them right away. It is OK if you do not have the answer and require some further investigation to come back with the proper response. I'm sure your team will understand.

That way when it is implemented, you’ve got them using their own ideas and suggestions. Change is more comfortable and implemented with less pushback when people are empowered and feel that they’re part of the solution.

Be empathetic. It is important to remember that change can be difficult for people, even if it is for the better. Try to be empathetic to your team members' concerns and offer your support. Be flexible. If necessary, be willing to make some adjustments to the new system to accommodate your team members' needs. Celebrate successes. Once your team members start to use the new system successfully, be sure to celebrate their accomplishments. This will help to reinforce the benefits of the system and encourage them to continue using it.

You need to be there supporting each one of the team members during this period, addressing doubts and inspiring them to go even further with the testing, because they are not the only ones to take benefits out of this new system.

In my experience, the root cause was concern that the information gained from the system wouldn't accurately reflect the team's activities as it was rolled up into higher level reports. Implementing a regular review of the reports with the team helped to ensure that errors in time reporting were captured and their confidence that the system accurately reflected the work they were doing increased.

At this point and as part of the exercise, you need to be prepared to manage resistance. Yes, even after all the efforts invested from your end, individual resistance issues could arise during the implementation process. Be prepared to manage them gently and assertively. This is a key piece of the process and each feedback is extremely important. Welcome each one who comes to you with feedback, they are doing that because you give them space to do it and because they look for the success of the system implementation.

Tell them the reason behind the change and why it is important for positive outcome with examples 3. Use empathy and address their resistance 4. Lead by example 5. Provide coaching, mentorship 6. Be patient for the time being 7. Motivate and recognize them for any small changes
