You can use screen diffing and an emulator setup. Depending on what you are trying to achieve, consider Postman collections, web crawlers, audio diffing, fuzzy logic, and even ChatGPT. Selecting right automation tool should be first task here. We need to explore different automation tools which will fit in our requirement. We need to think much ahead of the game for tool on if the tool selected can have extended use without having high additional cost? As an eg, if selected tool can be used for both Ui, Mobile and API automation? Atleast has base core framework upon which we can have wrapper classes. Test case Management tools are one if the most important to be selected in initial phase itself. We need to look at if TCM can incorporate all our needs, has good test reporting, has Capability to beautify the report which is sent to higher management. Few tools are zephyr, JIRA, MTM, TestRail

There is no harm in giving feedback whether it is deviation in tests or any other observations. Who knows these observations/ feedbacks may give scope in adding new requirements or enhancing the requirements. So testers should notify everything as a feedback, never hesitate to share is observed. And these observations/feedbacks can be shared within the team to all the stakeholders, so that all knows about that and everyone are on the same page... While sharing these feedback it should be clear and precise otherwise it may not convey what you are sharing to the stakeholders.
