It is vital to know if the community archive is officially listed as a foundation or if it is part of a municipality because that highly influences your eligibility for certain funds. Additionally, you need to know what you need funding for. Do you need funding to exist or for a specific project? For project funding, your archive would usually be required to also invest a certain percentage in the project. So you need to know your budget for projects like that. Lastly, your team's skills and workload also affect your possibilities.
