Based on my experience today, I have observed that open models are not suitable for Threat Intelligence tasks, which is in line with what Lior has already mentioned. The main challenge in this area is standardization, verification, and other related processes. I believe that TIPs such as openCTI, will be able to provide solutions for these issues first. The data is already collected and mostly tagged, and then AI models are trained specifically for the purpose of Threat Intelligence. This should be the first steps. Looking for the first (open) AI threat intel model(s). Anyway, this will be a game-changer.
