But we only get anyplace by effecting large scale change, and that comes from our joint direction. Example: when A Framework for K-12 Science was published in 2012, teachers seeking to align themselves with the new national direction engaged in book studies and PD opportunities to try and learn those new ways of teaching. Sure, a talented teacher can set a good and even a noble direction in their class as an individual for about 120-150 kids a year; but by setting a common goal, we can effect change for millions of kids.

It's critical to not only understand the policy, but also to investigate the details for how the respective federal and/or state agency is enforcing and monitoring the policy. In policy enforcement, there are always nuances that vary from the policy language that often alter how the policy should be implemented.

In my experience, changes in policy as well as practices are the norm for any relevant organization. Although they should not happen so frequently that they create frustration among the team members, the fact of life is that we will continue to effect policy and practices as resources, technology, and human capital change in availability. To be sure, all who want to remain relevant and growing in their field should seek to know what the trends are and how they impact your organization, field of study, and local community. This act of "knowing" is a forward step to not only stay abreast but to make decisions and have impact. Being in the know is a responsibility to oneself and those you serve.

The problem is that education is a political hot potato with so called educational professionals each peddling their version and ideology of modern practices and trends. In my opinion educators need to focus more on the needs of their students and the real reason for education - to prepare them for life beyond education. Too many countries’ education systems promote exam excellence as the only or main measure of success. This means that most education journals promote new ways of spoon feeding their students to pass exams. Rather it is important to read more about the future of work, skills based learning and educationalists TED talks that give a more rounded and forward looking view of education.

It should not be surprising to anyone that changes in systems are inevitable due to growth and knowledge. Education Policies in particular are susceptible to the mirage of changes in policies to effect desired outcomes. Meeting the needs, standards and the expectational role that education plays in the society, policies that shape it are not insulated from reality by that I mean changes. Being anticipatory and visionary aid readiness to embrace change. However having mindsets that are open to flexible expectations have proven to be the most important factor in harnessing the potential power embedded within the never ending cycle of changes. Let’s be ready to take advantages of those changes.

Attend professional development opportunities, read educational journals, and follow reputable sources to ensure you are informed about changes that may impact your practice. Follow educators on social platforms and network with them to develop your own skills.

In World Language Instruction all teachers, regardless of target language, were expected to teach the same IPAs. I recall that stood for Individual PErformance Assessments. I never did, nor did the other German teachers in the district. Earlier on I had no help from colleagues for some reason I never learned. Anyway, I got in some hot water but my program grew so it was obvious I knew what I was doing.

This approach, many a times is more effective and productive than even formal training programs provided there is trust among the members.

I find that connecting with my peers is a great way to understand and implement changes. Working together with colleagues, can offer practical insights and support as you navigate new challenges. Most importantly, by building a community of practice, you can share resources, strategies, and encouragement, making it easier and more effective to adapt to a new method or new practice. A different set of eyes can also spot possible pitfalls of implementing a new policy or change.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment. In teaching environments, especially at full-time tutoring institutions providing educational services, it's crucial to cultivate relationships with colleagues and stay engaged in understanding institutional policies. Here is the fundamental broken circuit that betrays and undermines all of our attempts to encourage literacy. The smarter kids have probably memorized 1000 or even 2000 sight-words. And then they guess and improvise another few thousand words. But there in the middle of the first sentence is a strange word never seen before. How do they read and understand that word??? They do not know any way to do that. They have been told to guess and skip ahead and that's what they do. But there is a gap, an empty space, in their understanding, their grasp of the material. Do you realize that when children don't know phonics, there is no way for them to figure out an individual difficult word. The easy way is to find someone who can actually read. but..

Percebendo, certa vez, que alguns funcionários estavam frustrados por não conseguir horários para prática de atividade física, entrei em contato com uma professora de zumba do local de trabalho, sobre a possibilidade de abrir meia hora do tempo de descanso do almoço dos funcionários, para aula em conjunto com alunos. Diante do ok, expliquei a administração sobre a importância da dinâmica, interação e saúde coletiva de funcionários e alunos. A administração aceitou com certo receio, contudo, foi extremamente positivo para todos, segundo alunos, funcionários e a própria professora, que relatou satisfação com o envolvimento de todos. With our fellow educators, we may have discussion about the new approaches and experiences and the important one is we are force them with this new approaches and experiences to be done because those approaches and experiences are probably work for us but not for them. So, we should give time for them to experience it by themselves and meet again to have more discussion

Working with others is always a good idea. A group of teachers can accomplish more than any one individual. A small grass root initiative can have great impact. All great ideas in education started as a kernel of idea that someone thought won’t work.

I am intentional about reflecting on my teaching practices. I often invite my students into this process using check-in assignments and open discussion. This has allowed me to accurately assess how effective and efficient my teaching practices are. It also allows not just me to embrace change, but allows me to establish a classroom culture that is conducive and appreciative of change as well. When scholars see change as an opportunity or advantage it makes your job of establishing change “easier”. All educators can allude to the challenges connected with change, but this allows for one less barrier.

Regularly reflecting on my teaching practices, student outcomes, and the impact of educational policies in my classroom has been greatly effective in embracing opportunities for my growth . Reflective practice has helped me identify areas for improvement, navigate challenges, make informed decisions, and adapt to changes effectively. I have found that involving the students in this process is most beneficial as they are the key factor for improving the policies and practices.

Reflection is powerful. We know the research. Yet we often let it fall out of our practice first. It can seem like a time waster when we are inundated with mandates, paperwork, and daily tasks. Without reflection, we can't grow, and one thing I've realized is that great educators understand that we're never done growing.

Self Reflection is the key to success. Teaching and learning is an ongoing process,everyone thinks that he or she is perfect but if you want to improve yourself in every aspect of life specially in teaching you should have Mentor who can observe your lesson and give you feedback.This is how you can ammend your lesson plan or way of teaching for further improvement. The whole goal, traditionally, in elementary school, was to make children autonomous. Able to read by themselves, so they could look up anything they don't know. But if you can't read phonics, you can't read. You are illiterate. You can't do anything without talking to someone who can. But now the grim reaper enters the picture and cuts off the child from any further enlightenment around those words they don't know. Meanwhile, the education establishment, sort of dances around the subject, and they talk about Covid, they talk about moving to a new neighborhood. They talk about anything but the actual problem. So the education professors produce a flood of new ideas, new theories, new everything. But they don't address the real problem.

Por essas razões, é importante que, para esse enfrentamento, o professorado esteja atualizado e incorpore as tecnologias educacionais em suas práticas pedagógicas para despertar maior interesse e motivação dos alunos.

Yes Technology now plays a significant role in educational change. We must keep in mind that it is a tool to enhance learning. Not an end to itself. Change is rapid so great care must be taken in the technology teaching tools we choose to use in our teaching. We must give students time to learn and use selected technologies. This means avoiding jumping too quickly from application to application just because a new technology application has been released.

Las tecnologías aplicadas a la educación no necesitan introducción ya que han probado con creces su utilidad. Adaptability must become part of an educators tool bag. In a tool bag there are tools for multiple jobs. Different jobs require a variety of different tools. I've worked in education long enough to learn to get to know my students, so that I can use the techniques that I have learned, over time, to address their needs. I've learned that the right tools (strategies) can bring about the successes that you and your students expect. I've learned that adaptability can be a great skill to possess in such a diverse and media-influenced society.

The most constant in education is change. Some changes have big impacts on our students. Others our a flash in the pan and disappear was soon as they begin. Always research new ideas throughly. What were the positives? The negatives? How can they be improved?

An example from my experience is to become a member of your state’s education cadre. They usually rotate members every few years. This will provide you with many thought leaders, tremendous opportunities, and potential to advocate for change.

Every child to be prepared and taught from childhood to make him an holistic observer.This means instilling within him power to observe things in a detached manner to understand the things, actions and behavior which are good for self, family society and humanity at large and which are the things, actions, behavior bad for self family and society. He should be encouraged to act to multiply things good for the whole world and act against which are bad for self, society and the whole world by practicing individually as well as collectively with his peers. This will transform him as Guardian of the universe when he grows and makes the world a better place to live. Happiness and happiness will be manifestations of his good and bad deeds.

I agree with the statement and just want to add one more thing: We should work out the new information, approaches, or experiences so we’ll know is thiw work for us or not

Realize that a whole lot of every few years change happens because it’s just inherently in education to try and build a better mouse trap. Take what works and keep it while never being afraid of change. On the down side too much of what is changed is not based on the classroom teachers ability to meet the demands and often causes a lot of shall we say liberal documentation that requires as much bs as anything else.

I agree with each area for improvement. However, I would include awareness of political winds and be cognizant that most students are still immature and will develop different views as they mature. Enacting changes that alter this is more harmful than beneficial.
