First thing I would do is pull my team together let them know what is going to change and explain why including the reasons for the change as soon as it is set in stone. Time enough to learn it before implementation. Do not blind side them with a major process change and expect them to jump in with both feet and understand it all. Adequate training should be provided to all core staff prior to implementation. Explain the potential benefits for them and how it will improve their day-to-day jobs. Explain how it will reduce impact to their customers and end users. Most importantly allow them to provide feedback and get there buy-in. Resolve any concerns they may have.
