It is not uncommon to see conflicts between health care workers may it with regards to patient care or at administrative level. These conflicts I believe arise mainly due to lack of proper communication between the peers. Proper channels and platforms to be provided between the staff in the form of clinical meetings, outings and get together will solve a major problem. The head of the institute should be the one who makes sure there is an all time empathetic environment which helps to develop a respectful atmosphere for the peers and subordinates all the time.

Many industries successfully adopt parallel team structures, but healthcare is uniquely challenging due to its regulatory-intensive nature, which demands adherence to specific standard operating procedures and protocols aligned with established guidelines. 1. A well-structured hospital system is essential for delivering high-quality patient care while minimising potential conflicts among team members. 2. Additionally, implementing a transparent and open digital communication channel can foster collaboration and ensure everyone remains aligned with organisational goals.

Fostering mutual understanding in a healthcare team amidst conflicts requires a thoughtful and structured approach. 1. Acknowledge the Conflict: Recognize and validate that there is a conflict, creating a safe space for team members to express their concerns without fear of judgment or reprisal and arrange a neutral meeting to address the issues. 2. Active Listening: Encourage all team members to share their perspectives. Use active listening techniques such as paraphrasing, summarizing, and maintaining eye contact to show genuine understanding. Avoid interruptions and allow everyone to feel heard. 3. Promote Empathy: Help team members see situations from others' perspectives and emphasize the importance of each roles.

Conflicts in healthcare teams can affect both morale and patient care. I prioritize open communication, creating a safe space for team members to express concerns without judgment. Empathy and mutual respect are central—encouraging team members to understand diverse perspectives. Additionally, implementing conflict resolution training equips the team with tools to address disagreements constructively, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
