If you’re animating a project for a client, then the animators must conform to the brief, which is dictated by the director or designer and brand guidelines or animation bible. If the animator has gone rogue and is doing their own thing then they will need to align to the brief or be taken off the project. A good producer or director welcomes input from the animators but ultimately the director has the final call.

Communicate with the animator, that is the key to every transaction, conflict and everything else. Had a few scenarios with this from the past. Need everyone to be on the same page, on the same boat, we are not competing with each other but we are creating together and it needs a creative unified output for the client. Working together in a unified way will make the project a very good one.
