To begin with I would have to say " Stop using the words diversity and inclusion, and just see every student as a student. The more a child is seen as different, or given special treatment simply because of their color, race or even their learning abilities ,the more they are going to feel like an outsider. Stop making an issue out of something that is not one." Set the same standards, rules, and expectations for every student in your class. This in itself will ensure everyone feels included, everyone is heard and seen, and no one feels different from the others.
