Integrating scalable solutions into a network on a tight budget requires careful planning and resource allocation. Here are some strategies to effectively manage this challenge: 1. Prioritize Scalability Needs: * Identify Critical Components: Determine which components of the network are most likely to experience growth and require scalability. * Focus on Future Needs: Consider future growth and scalability requirements when making purchasing decisions. 2. Leverage Open-Source Solutions: * Cost-Effective Options: Utilize open-source software and hardware to reduce costs without compromising functionality. * Community Support: Benefit from a large community of developers and users who can provide support and troubleshooting assistance.

My top tip is buy manageable equipment at a lower spec. For example, don't buy a 10G unmanaged switch, buy 1 1G managed version and invest in the skills to understand the management platform. You can swap out high-throughput versions of he managed switches as and when your business and budget grows. The same applies to Wi-Fi - centrally managed version 5/6 will be a better investment than a bunch of headline-grabbing APs that need to be individually configured/managed!
