Often times, people try to get other people interested in them but instead, you can create meaningful connections by just being genuinely interested in other people & actually listening to them. Ask them questions & be engaged by keeping eye contact & also nodding in agreeance at specific points while maintaining a childlike like curiosity.

1-Address Concerns: Use open-ended questions to identify their doubts and offer personalized solutions to ease their worries. 2-Showcase Value: Clearly outline how your product or service will solve their problems and deliver measurable benefits. 3-Create Urgency: Highlight limited-time offers or potential missed opportunities to encourage prompt action. 4-Build Confidence: Provide success stories, testimonials, or guarantees to demonstrate trustworthiness and reliability.

Hi, here’s what I think: 1. Show Genuine Interest; 2. Share Your Story; 3. Be Mindful of Body Language; 4. Follow Up; 5. Be Patient. In short: #Authenticity Until next time.

The discussion so far has been incredibly valuable. I'd like to add that active listening has been a game-changer for me. By giving others my full attention, asking clarifying questions, and showing gratitude, I've been able to build stronger relationships and gain deeper insights. It's a skill that I highly recommend.

Para forjar conexões reais é importante três elementos básicos: a autenticidade, o equilíbrio e a gentileza. Explico!

Authenticity at networking events starts with genuine interest and other-centredness—approaching others as you’d like to be approached. Instead of self-promotion, show a sincere desire to connect. Go beyond “What do you do?” with questions like, “What excites you about your work?” or “Why do you serve your community?” Share your experiences openly, but keep the focus balanced. Active listening is critical—maintain eye contact, reflect on their insights, and build rapport. Finally, follow up with a personalised note to nurture the connection. Authenticity is the key to creating lasting relationships.
