Most rejections don't really say what went wrong, which may sound very unfriendly and unfair. Although your first reaction may be to prove them wrong, it's better to remain thankful (at least they gave feedback!) and polite. Let them know you'll be open for any opportunities in future: maybe they will still consider you... if not for a similar role!
