I look at which of the new ideas will make the game better and bring the most value. It’s important to figure out which ideas will have the biggest positive impact on the game. I think about compromises. If a good idea is hard to build, I ask if there’s a simpler way. And if not, it’s okay to move on from it. Our ideas must be clear and fun. If they make the game too hard or cause crashes, players will leave. In those cases, we either find a simpler version or let the idea go. I study the mechanics used by our competitors and how well they work. Then, I ask if those same mechanics could fit our audience and game. If competitors use something cool without issues, we should figure out how they did it and try it too.

A designer's jo is to solve problems. Some of the best innovations were born from technical limitations or constraints. Hardware limitations can lead to creative graphical styles and art direction. Controls or Button limitations can lead to control innovation (see games on Wii and Even mobile games). I basically cannot say there is a way to innovate, because innovation in itself is a wildcard. If everybody could innovate, everybody would do it. But I will always ask Game designers to read about Lateral Thinking. It's really crucial. Lateral thinking and team work. Also, prototype and test frequently. You can also go back to old prototype. No idea is really a bad idea if it achieves a good goal. It's either useful or Chindogu

I navigate the complexities of game design by fostering a collaborative environment between creative and technical teams. Open communication and regular brainstorming sessions help us identify innovative ideas that align with the game's technical capabilities. By understanding the limitations of the development platform and setting realistic expectations, we can prioritize features that enhance the player experience without compromising the game's integrity. Additionally, exploring alternative approaches and utilizing creative problem-solving techniques can help overcome technical challenges and maintain a balance between innovation and feasibility.
