I always say - that you need to put yourself in shoes/ sandals of the stakeholder to realise exactly what they want. Role play across personas is a great way to get these inputs straight from the horse's mouth!

Dump scope control, build trust instead. Treat stakeholders like allies. Dive deep on product vision, in person or via dedicated workshops(VC meetings), not rushed Zooms. On the first day of the workshop prioritize exploration over instant conclusions. We'll be flexible, they'll be informed. This helps in building trust & also stakeholders realise that the scope can change in future - even if we freeze - U comforts them that as long as they communicate more often & accept the impact on tech/timeline - We're going to have a great product. Think of 6th point in the continuation of point 5 -Where app audience is growing - Major problem we see is that PM/Developer tends to be very touchy with what they've built rather than evolving/ changing or scraping the old feature. Stakeholder management or communication is one among the critical tasks of a software development. There will be many teams, to name a few like UI/UX, F/BE development, product owners, security, infra, UAT & etc. Their scope of efforts in a project would vary from minimal to maximum. Try to collect information as much as possible even before ‘File’->’New Project’. Write down on a paper every needs and expectation from the client.
