(edited)In my view the way to implement change starts with the decision making process itself. Remember you are just part of the team too - it just happens to be your job to implement change! Change takes time and energy and will only provide the hoped-for efficiency gain if everybody can see and buys into Its benefits. If you follow this process you won’t go too far wrong: - Tell the team openly and inclusively what is not working - And how you intend to address the issues - Invite the team to tell you what isn’t working from their side - Come up with a clear set of proposals to address both your own concerns and those of others - Set a timeline - Consult ! - Share the results - Implement
