Actually what is essential is to focus on important features that empower the system stability and that will be done on a daily basis by tasks

1.List out crtical and non critical components for system stability. 2.Brainstorming sessions with stakeholders regarding innovations ,features for system. 3.Map with critical,non critical items. Put all the items discussed in backlog. 4.Grooming the backlog for non critical items to strike low hanging fruits. Please involve testing team to have test cases to cover scenarios and do the automation. 5.Risk register & mitigation plan to tackle known/unknows. 6.Keep some buffer in sprint to tackle last minute rush 7.Start rolling out sprints with test cases automation. 8.Review & retrospective for each sprint to find out lessons learnt to implement in upcoming sprints. 9.Once the team has enough confidence, start grooming the backlog mapped to critical items. Repeat the above process.

Consistently focus on balancing organizational ambidexterity between optimization and innovation, incorporating Google’s ‘20% rule’ into the team's total capacity to avoid short-term thinking, because innovation happens gradually, then suddenly.
