Establishing clear roles and responsibilities would help a great deal. Most conflict in a project team arise when everyone is doing everything. Most successful project I have led have clear roles and responsibilities. This way team members understand what they should and should not do. Also, identifying common goal will also help members re focus energy back to achieving the desired goal of the project. One last thing that has really been helpful is when everyone receives feedback without taking it personal. This addresses the issue and not the individual. These strategies have really helped me in my program coordination roles over the years

Coming together is the first step. Calling a shared meeting, giving each stakeholder an opportunity to express their challenges would be a good start. It is essential to let each one be heard. Having said that, keeping an open mind to the others perspective should be the essential agreement all must make. We can then as a team weigh the pros and cons, take shared responsibility of the outcomes and each one endorse the change. This way we might find common ground and also ensure the stakeholders are actively participating in decision making.
