Mostly, there are different members in a team that have worked with different CAD softwares, and therefore feel familiar with their respective tools. But what's more important to understand is that all CAD software are merely tools, with powerful packages that support varied imaginations. And hence, they all can have different perspectives for the design of the project. Therefore, the team should create iterations of the design according to their perspective and then collaboratively decide which one serves the purpose the best and go ahead with the same.
