Tough questions are like reality check of our current knowledge. To handle the situation there are 2 ways. 1) Thinking and answering with PBR. It works DO IT MORE TO SEE ITS MAGIC. P for Pause: Take a moment to think before responding. B for Breathe: Breaths help calm your nerves. R for Reframe: Turn the question into a positive or neutral one.( A question you can answer). Stay Calm, Respond confidently without getting defensive. Control the Situation: Focus on providing thoughtful answers. 2) Be honest say you dont know about it, and something related to topic which is indirectly associated with it, or dont say anything. just say, I have no idea.

To stay in control during tough questions, I would maintain composure by taking a deep breath before responding. I’d listen carefully to each question, ensuring I understand it fully before answering. If I don’t know the answer, I’d admit it honestly and offer to follow up later. I’d stay focused on the core message of my presentation, responding calmly and confidently, using data or examples to support my answers, and keeping the tone respectful and professional throughout the exchange.

Human nature does this - when we sense danger, we Fight back or we tend to Flight (run away). Look at it from this perspective in these situations - it's your chance to shine and show how strong you are. Demonstrate confidence through verbal and non-verbals - Take a breath before speaking. That 1-second of time allows you to collect your thoughts and composure. Make eye contact with people. It's to show you are willing to engage with them. Smile. It's not for them - it's for YOU. How do you feel when you smile at difficult situations? It doesn't make you more tense and shows others how you're confident to move ahead. Pitch On!

To handle tough questions during a presentation, remain calm and composed. Acknowledge the question, and if needed, take a moment to collect your thoughts before responding. Tips: 1. Reframe challenging questions to steer them toward your key message. 2. Admit when you don’t know an answer, offering to follow up later. 3. Redirect the discussion if it strays too far off-topic, e.g., “Let’s explore that in detail after the session.” Confidence and active listening show professionalism and help you stay in control while addressing concerns effectively.
