To me, there are two main points to consider, out of the two highlighted: -1- Vision, values and mission: the new acquisition should be in line with those values, first. - 2- Depending on whether or not your company has in-house, staff who understand the business model of the acquisition to come and have skills to operate it. If this last condition is not met ( by hiring the right people therefore), you are more likely to fail on the long run.
