After every Presentation, it is important to get perspective of what went right, what went wrong, what can we do more of and what can we do less of during the Presentation. Instead of simply asking, "How did it go?" And receiving a standard response such as "It was good" you can ask for pointed feedback along the lines of the 2x2 matrix of what went right, wrong, Do more of and less of. Next, it is critical to write down this feedback and internalize it. Then, it boils down to consciously tackling each feedback element that you consider relevant- Maintain what is right, Incorporate elements that you can do more of, Remove elements you need less of, and finally work one by one on what went wrong. This tactic can go a long way.

You should record yourself during a live presentation or practice session and watch it with and without listening to the sound and you will see areas for improvement. Another tip is to seek feedback from other qualified persons on the live speech or practice that you have recorded. Ask them to commit to helping you long term. Research how the areas may be improved and work on them a few at a time. Return to the qualified persons to help you assess your progress.
