As a team, we found the brainstorming cards very useful. Like...printed cards. No digital. No laptops at all. Just pen, paper, and brainstorming cards. Like this, the medium invites everyone to think outside their comfort zone (digital) and find a new way to think. We particularly use the cards from Sefirot, such as BAD (Business Aware Design) or Fabula.

All these tools and exercises sound great, I am sure they are effective. But most people only try to change the outside, forgetting that everything on the outside is an effect of what's going on, on the inside. Our actions and results are caused by our paradigm. So, if your team gets stuck in a bubble, especially if this happens more than once, the long-term solution is not different tools or exercises but changing their paradigm. A paradigm is a mental programming which has almost exclusive control over ones (or a groups) behavior. The interesting part here is that almost ALL of our behavior is habitual. Kind regards, Ricardo
