One thing I’ve found that helps is having a clear decision making framework, this involves creating a process that the team can work through when differences occur. One of these may include having preset people that the team turns to resolve differences for different circumstances, this would be people that all the team agree to their judgement.

Here's what everyone misses about team alignment: it's not about priorities. It's about fear. Your "clashing priorities" are really just smart people afraid of building the wrong thing. The solution isn't another Notion doc or Slack channel - it's embarrassingly obvious: lock everyone in a room until they're forced to say what they're actually afraid of. Then make someone accountable for each fear. Write it down. Email it out. Done. The best teams don't have better alignment tools - they just had the guts to be uncomfortably direct. You don't need OKRs. You need courage.
