I think another thing is take celebrations seriously. Birthdays, achievements. Celebrate them. Thank you or congratulations isn’t enough. Buy drinks and make a day to celebrate those achievements. This goes a long way in helping team members stay motivated.

1. I will encourage a culture of innovation by leading by example. I will demonstrate my own willingness to take calculated risks and try new approaches. This will show my team that innovation is valued. 2. I will foster a safe environment where experimentation and learning from failures are encouraged. I will make it clear that mistakes are an essential part of the innovation process. 3. To empower my team, I will offer training and resources to equip them with the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to innovate. 4. Finally, I will make innovation fun and engaging by gamifying innovation, hosting innovation events, and celebrating successes. By taking these steps, I am confident that I can inspire my team to innovate and drive growth.

First, if you haven't developed a trusting environment with your team to begin with, you've got two things to work on. Old habits can be hard to change–hard, but not impossible. New concepts are not always new, you're usually dealing with freedom within a framework. As a transformational leader in the creative industry, I first start with removing the framework and give no boundaries, a "If this were yours..." boundary. Make the process fun, rewarding. Offer gift card, lunch, a day off. In the end it's a whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right.
