Based on this, I review expectations and deadlines, ensuring that they are realistic, while offering continuous support to the team. In addition, I celebrate progress and achievements, however small, to keep motivation high, and I encourage a culture of learning, where failures become opportunities for growth. The balance between empathy and responsibility is key to ensuring that the team feels supported, but also committed to results. This strengthens the team's resilience and ability to face challenges with confidence.

Consider the reasons behind the problem, whether it's too much work, an unrealistic schedule, or other team-related issues. Make sure everyone knows how important it is to meet deadlines for the project's success. Work with the team to come up with solutions to ensure deadlines are met in the future. Clearly assign tasks and responsibilities to avoid confusion. Regularly check on progress to catch any potential problems early. By handling the situation with understanding and emphasizing the importance of responsibility, a supportive atmosphere can be created where deadlines and problems are solved together.

One thing I find that helps is devising a system of accountability that has a gamified component. This includes having rewards and punishments that the team agrees to, which are fun and engaging. The gamified element fosters a greater sense of team collaboration, while making the tasks and projects more fun to accomplish.
