If you have team members with different work styles, you need to assign the right responsibility to the right person. Each person‘s core strength should be their core responsibility. The goal should be clearly communicated to everyone so that each one of them can contribute in their own unique style and work in synergy ,complimenting each other towards the achievement of the goal

What worked for me: - Accept that team will be diverse and not like the leader or will resemble the top performers - Every one needs to know the “what’s in it for me” - the team is better aligned if they know the “why” of the task or vision

All five fingers of the hand are not similar but each finger plays a part which enables HAND TO FUNCTION . Similarly every member of the team are not similar in terms of skills and many other attributes . it is the leaders job to harness the potential of each individual so that the same cascades and results in the organisation goal being achieved . Easier said than done - right but good leaders are able to do this and have highly performing teams . each members in such team contributes and the team members complement each other so that any gap is quickly identified and closed by the team rather than escalating that an particular individual has not performed hence the team is not able to perform . these teams work like an orchestra , agree

Share overall goals and ensure that everyone understands these. Get all team members to connect their goals to the overall goals. And, also the inter-dependencies with each other. It always pays to do this and clarify expectations from each other. Emphasize that team members are free to work and manager in their own way as long as they are focused on achieving not just their own goals but also the overall team goals. And, also doing regular check-ins with each other to align and fix the inter-dependencies. Diversity is good. Helps maintain ones authenticity and appreciate others' styles too.

Additionally, in order to synchronise team towards common objectives : - Encourage open communication - Identity and leverage individual strength - Foster culture of collaboration and accountability - Celebrate progress and successes
