When your team chat feels like a digital black hole of missed messages - it’s time to get creative with communication! I love to use fun and clear subject lines & emojis like "URGENT 🚨" or "ACTION NEEDED 🔥" This makes some key updates pop! I always use use multiple channels for super critical messages like pairing a group chat with a quick email or a calendar reminder. And lastly don’t be afraid to add some personality to your messages- like turn a boring announcement into a quick meme or GIF or even a poll to grab attention! Hope this helps 🙏

I know how easily important information can get lost in a group discussion. It’s important to highlight key messages as important by using tools like pinning or icons. Channels dedicated to important topics also help reduce clutter and keep you up-to-date. If they come regularly, daily or weekly, make sure they meet and have the team address concerns quickly. Integrated platforms like Slack or Teams facilitate communication, while clear roles and timelines prevent misunderstandings. These strategies worked well in high-pressure jobs.

Here are effective ways to ensure important information gets noticed in team communications and prevent missed messages: - Create Dedicated Channels for Critical Updates: Set up a channel solely for key announcements or high-importance messages. - Pin Important Messages: Pin critical messages or mark them as important to ensure they remain visible at the top of the chat. - Summarize and Follow Up in Multiple Formats: Send concise summaries of critical information in follow-up emails, shared documents, or recurring updates.

Tough one. I suggest two techniques here, 1. Repeat repeat repeat. Always share again and again the main points/ messaging. Make a list and remind it all the time. 2. Leverage technology eg, Microsoft Teams/Google Chat, for real-time communication and instant chat of important highlights and urgent topics that arise.

Review your communications strategy and discuss it with your team. You either have too many messages or the wrong team, but it is usually the first. Make sure your internal messaging with your team is all well categorized and that your team understand the best practices.
