Es recomendable tener una agenda a mano y una aplicación que ayude a gestionar tareas prioritarias, el trabajo remoto parece flexible, pero al estar trabajando continuamente se pierde el control de cuando debo para e iniciar el tiempo personal. Por lo que es básico enseñarle al personal a poder manejar el tiempo laboral y dedicar tiempo personal. Una de mis estrategias ha sido mezclar tareas de trabajo y personal para ser más efectiva.

Focus intensely for 55 minutes without any distractions, then take a 5-minute break. After two such cycles, you can take a longer break. 2.Disconnect completely when your workday ends. Stop checking work messengers and step away from your computer. This is your time to rest and recharge. 3. Identify your least productive time of day and use it for a break rather than forcing yourself to work through it. When we work efficiently during our scheduled time, it becomes much easier to maintain healthy boundaries between work and personal life.

En mi experiencia, la cultura juega un rol muy importante en facilitar este balance (p.e. si es una empresa enfocada en resultados, con bonos variables, es probable que todos estén enfocados en solo eso y en nada más...porque en trabajo remoto, todos los días son lunes). Para evitar llegar al desgaste, es importante que los gerentes sean los primeros en respetar los límites: no pactar reuniones después del horario, no dejar trabajo para el fin de semana, etc. El área de RRHH debe estar empoderada (y preparada) para participar activamente en el día a día: dando seguimiento a las conexiones al sistema y estableciendo rutinas durante el día para romper la conexión. Ayuda tener un sistema de "faltas autorizadas" para tener tiempo libre.
