While the delays weren’t my team’s fault, the entire company felt the failure. The client escalated concerns, and leadership demanded answers. We leaned on transparency to rebuild trust—tracking daily progress, identifying roadblocks early, and presenting clear solutions. Honest communication, both internally and externally, became our foundation. By focusing on solutions over blame, we regained momentum, restored trust, and completed the project successfully. This experience reinforced a key lesson: transparency paired with action leads to progress.

Acredito que antes de responder o enunciado, precisamos trabalhar a causa raiz… Tem sido constante os atrasos? São pontuais? São específicos? São rotineiros e abrange todo o portfólio? Em qual setor está sendo gerado esse atraso? As pessoas estão treinadas adequadamente para evitá-los? Os prazos estabelecidos estão corretos? Não podemos simplesmente conviver e aceitar os atrasos constantes. Fica difícil justificar ao mercado a recorrência. Voltando a causa raiz e trabalhar com prazos mais realistas, certamente evitará o atraso. Mas depois dele ter ocorrido, uma comunicação transparente e de forma mais individualizado possível faz com que a imagem da empresa esteja menos arranhada. Mesmo sabendo que o risco de perder o cliente é real!

Identify root causes & learn: Identify issues, capture learnings, & implement fixes. 6. No blame game: Avoid morale-destroying conflict.
