One thing I have found helpful is involving employees in crafting solutions... When a leadership change brought uncertainty, we invited team members co-create transition plans. Small focus groups brainstormed ideas on workflow improvements and identified potential challenges early. This collaborative approach not only eased concerns but also gave employees a sense of ownership over the process. Transparency isn't just about sharing updates-it's about making people feel like they are a part of the narrative, not just the audience.

It’s never easy to reach to the last employee on the floor and explain the CHANGE in the organisation especially it’s it has a negative impact on people! It’s good times it’s all CHEERS but if the new is not good it’s painful for some and tough for some. Being honest about the reason for change and ensuring those impacted are dealt with respectfully and fairly is probably a better way than manage it.

Trust Transparency will lead to Togetherness and Transformation. It would be important to have this through Communication Process. It is important to craft a Communication Strategy . Holding regular meetings with open clear concise communication. Putting the same on multiple channels. Having transparency of higher order with feedback mechanism so that people are ready to share their thoughts. Employees should feel very comfortable in doing this. Shifting the focus from why it WILL NOT work to ways on HOW it WILL work helps in building acceptance and addresses the anxiety about the change. Also, getting to the level of the last mile employee to solve it together builds trust and being empathetic during the transition creates long lasting commitment.

This allows leadership to share official updates, clarify concerns, and demonstrate transparency. Such an approach helps build trust, counters misinformation, and minimizes the spread of rumors.
