A lot of people are prone to quick time results syndrome so it's not out of place to meat clients who "want it now" in my 3 years in the digital marketing world. It's okay to "want it now" but unfortunately, that doesn't pay the bill in the long. When I meet clients like this, I understand their POV so I take out time using matrixes and data to explain to them the advantages of taking a long term shot at advertising. If you must last in your business, your plans for advert must be long lasting too.
