With the exponential growth of AI tools and other digital technologies, it is imperative to continuously learn in the job. Instead of having a scheduled learning model, I have been learning on a need-basis. When I have a requirement in my class or in my teaching planning process, is when I start exploring the tools that might help with the specific need. These are then bookmarked and added to the digital toolbox.

For any plan or initiative, the primary step is the need analysis. Same applies here. One must first consider what are the learning needs before choosing a particular strategy. Digitalising education is built on the foundations of inclusiveness and individuality. So it is imperative that the strategies applied must align with the needs of the learners and help in individual and professional growth.

Assessing my need such as technical skills, soft skills can be done by SWOT analysis. After identifying the gaps or the areas that one want to improve, various tools can be used to improve the strengths, remove the weakness and creating the opportunities.

Additionally, setting goals and tracking my progress provides valuable insights into my strengths and areas for development. I know it doesn't take much time, but it works. It helped to complete two online specializations last year.

In today's scenario, learning of digital tools is the need of the hour. Many are available and with the incorporation of AI tools it has become too vast. In order to know which tool is useful for me I think my objective must be very clear that for what purpose I am going to use it .
