Onboarding ist keine Einmaltätigkeit, sondern ein kontinuierlicher Prozess, der spätestens mit der beidseitigen Jobzusage beginnt - also quasi mit Vertragsunterschrift. Im Rahmen des Pre-Boardings versende ich daher gerne eine individualisierte Postkarte an meine neuen Mitarbeiter:innen, um ihnen meine Freude über ihre Entscheidung mitzuteilen und sie zu überraschen. Denn wirklich rechnen tun damit die wenigsten. Hierfür bietet das Tool mypostcard eine spannende online-basierte Möglichkeit. Wichtig sind auch hier das Senden personalisierter Nachrichten und keine Standardtexte.

Switching this mindset to the company's viewpoint can be a phenomenal way to start onboarding the individual. Once the job is accepted, having an individual on the hiring team reach out and congratulate the new hire allows for several psychological things to transpire. First, it can build up confidence levels in the new employee. Second, it demonstrates a personalized approach to treating people. And finally, it ultimately shows how much value the organization has in the new hire. This helps to provide a foundation of trust from day one, which will prove to be critical in establishing organizational embeddedness.

Abseits der Führungskraft sollte es für neue Mitarbeiter:innen unbedingt auch einen zugewiesenen Buddy geben! Warum? Weil man der Führungskraft zu Beginn vielleicht doch noch nicht alles anvertrauen mag / kann. Zudem ist diese ggf. in viele Termine vergraben und hat nicht ausreichend Zeit, alle Fragen direkt zu beantworten. Durch eine Aufteilung schafft man somit eine weitere Option und stärkt somit auch den / die Mitarbeiter:in, dem / der man die Rolle des Buddys übertragen hat (im Sinne von: ich vertraue dir). Das kann eine gute Hinführung zu disziplinarischen Führungsaufgaben in Zukunft sein.

Do not let a Peer buddy system be an excuse for weak planning and structure. Buddies have important jobs to on their own. Use it as an incentiv for employees to grow and make sure the extra work is balanced between every voluntary.

Zum einen, weil es Spaß macht und die nötige Leichtigkeit mitbringt, zum anderen weil es einen anderen Zugang schafft. Besonders motivierend empfinde ich hierbei Team-Ziele, bei denen am Ende die Gruppe für gemeinsame Erfolge belohnt wird. Im Bereich Onboarding sehe ich beim Thema Gamification darüber hinaus viel Potenzial für Metaverse-Anwendungen, da sie Mitarbeiter:innen in die Position bringen, virtuelle Welten in eigenem Tempo zu ergründen und somit self-paced Inhalte etc. kennenzulernen. Zudem hat man damit auch einen Employer Branding-Effekt, denn nur wenige Unternehmen spielen bislang mit den dadurch entstanden Möglichkeiten.

D'où le succès des jeux de stratégies personnalisés aux couleurs de l'entreprise avec des règles adaptées au secteur d'activité. Les jeux de monopoly, jeux de 7 familles et jeux de mémo sur mesure informent les collaborateurs sur la marque employée.

Beim Thema "flexibler Zeitplan" kommt mir zunächst einmal ein genereller Onboarding-Plan in den Sinn. Denn den gibt es leider noch viel zu selten. Allerdings erachte ich ihn als zentrales Element, um im Onboarding die notwendige Flexibilität für das Rezipieren von Inhalten einräumen zu können. Denn damit gebe ich neuen Mitarbeiter:innen mit auf den Weg, was sie sich bitte in einer gewissen Zeitspanne anschauen sollen - überlasse ihnen dann aber den genauen Zeitpunkt und die Pace. Wichtig ist auch hier zwischenzeitlich einmal nachzufragen, ob alles klar und verständlich war oder ob es weitere Informationen benötigt.

Im Rahmen des Onboardings liegt meiner Meinung nach der Fokus zu meist viel zu sehr auf Tag eins und viel zu wenig auf dem Ende der Probezeit. In einer idealen Welt werden natürlich beide Meilensteine gleichermaßen zelebriert. Warum ich so ein Verfechter davon bin, das Ender der Probezeit zu feiern? Weil damit die Mitarbeiter:innen den Übergang ins Unternehmen endgültig geschafft haben und somit potenziell auch eine gewisse Phase der Unsicherheit endet. In Zeiten konsequent steigender Kosten ist es sicher ein beruhigendes Gefühl zu wissen: ich habe jetzt eine unbefristete Anstellung und durch meine Leistungen, die Probezeit gemeistert.

I would highlight what has been developed by me almost everywhere I've been creating an onboarding process from 0: 1. Creating an email for Welcoming the new joiners 2. Developing and sending a Welcome Onboarding email including some initial pre onboarding steps 3. Creating an Onboarding Checklist for the new hires for a clear overview on the upcoming onboarding days ( including what type of live sessions, process, documentation or tools will be neccesary to be done/ bookmarked/read/saved) 4. In house Live sessions for the most important administrative aspects 5. 30 Days Onboarding Feedback Survey to identify what went well, what didn go well and what can be improved.

Onboarding doit déjà être visible en amont et perçu par les futurs talents lors des salons étudiants et job dating. Certes un welcome pack ne va pas pousser le futur candidat à signer votre contrat d'embauche, cependant il contribue largement à positiver votre marque employeur. Il faut donc le montrer sur votre site vos réseaux sociaux et dans les salons étudiants.
