The goal in remote operations is to "do things right the first time." If possible, have backups of key parts or equipment in the development of the activity being performed, follow the procedures step by step and have just enough time to avoid operating under pressure due to lack of time. Good internal and external communication is necessary and a priority for remote locations.

I would analyze the situation to identify the root cause, ensuring seamless data transmission by leveraging robust communication tools and backup systems. Collaboration with IT and field teams will ensure timely resolution.

1- Plan a redundant communication system. 2- Make sure that if everything goes down, the operator and the technicians have a basic form of communication internet free. 3- Establish 2 types of communication: a- HQ to objective well, b- HQ to facilities neighbouring the objective well. That way, if any safety concern is discovered at the HQ other close facilities can physically communicate the issue so technicians can fix it. 4- Last resort, have safety guides and brochures informing technicians how to proceed to secure the drill until communication is re-established.
