If struggling with conflicts between HR and IT over system integration: 1. Its imperative to define the scope and expectations of HR function from the IT Team. 2. Scope should cover functions , tasks , priorities with clear outcomes and timelines. 3. It should be discussed thereafter with the IT team and a realistic , time bound plan agreed by both be devised. “Project Managers” be assigned by both teams thereafter to monitor the progress as per the agreed timelines. 4. Both teams should work together as ‘one team’ approach. 5. HR team should support for test / pilot runs concurrently to better execution and outcomes. Digitalisation and automation of HR functions is the key in today’s digital world. Its a competitive advantage!
