In my experience, I always incorporate some form of team building activities to shake things up, regardless of stringent timelines. Whether thats a warm up activity before a meeting, breakout session and/or scheduled Professional Development once a month to foster unity and constructive engagement. In some cases, I have facilitated virtual activities, so everyone still feels connected regardless of logistics. We'll do a rapid fire session between departments giving each matched personnel 90 seconds to chat and then we switch it up! Its fast, fun and rejuvenating all at once..

Teambuilding is a must. A non negotiable. Not having time as suggested in this AI generated question might cost me my "badge" but that's life. Over my entire career team building has been the one thing I have always done. I will never stop. From end of season dead rock star theme parties, Halloween costume contests, ice breakers, lip sync contests, and I could go on and on, the power of team building is everything.

I held a monthly team meeting for my larger team. At the start of each meeting we would celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and special accomplishments of our respective team members. We would also dedicate at least 5 minutes to do a non-work related team bonding activity. Sometimes it was an emoji or a song check-in, other times we would play a quick game.
