Not quite my forte, but from my experience, having cooperation with the business as a whole on a base level is also important. Proper access and check in/out to the building upon vendor visits and coordination with facilities and other departments in ensuring that there is as little disruption as possible while work is done by everyone involved us crucial. An adequate amount of transparency and communication prior and during, with site visits for planning bigger infrastructure projects, can help those same vendors better address issues down the line as they will be more familiar going into sudden issues. All of this time and effort pays dividends by way of a stronger working relationship between the vendors and tech moving forward.
