This happens more than people may expect. It's always a good idea to have a back up plan in mind for as many things as you can for your shoot. I usually have already spoken to a few locations and have a general idea if a short notice change would be possible. In my experience, every production has a last second hiccup of some sort and you have to be ready for it. Some of my greatest shots have come out of a last second "disaster". Getting too married to a specific vision often leads to disappointment but magic can happen when you allow things to unfold as they will. You can let it ruin things or you can let it spark a new miracle. It's all about your attitude and that is really the only thing you are truly in control of.
