- Advocate for soundproofing measures in nearby businesses, such as installing acoustic panels or double-glazed windows. - Encourage the airport to implement noise abatement procedures, such as adjusting flight paths or limiting nighttime flights. - Offer information on grants or funding opportunities for businesses to invest in soundproofing or other mitigation measures. - Raise awareness about the impact of noise pollution on local businesses through social media campaigns, newsletters, or community events. Work with airport management to develop a comprehensive noise management plan that considers the needs of local businesses. Suggest flexible operating hours for affected businesses to minimize disruption during peak flight times.

Install sound proofing materials in the business premises. Also others businesses should operate from a radius far from the airport as any airport is a highly sensitive area. Any major mishaps can cause destruction to the airport, officials, passengers, business operating out side and livelihood. Safety should be top priority.

Having gone through the answers of others; I may add, that some of the key components of Noise Control and mitigations strategies include; Zoning, Routing & Scheduling of Flights, Sponsoring Noise Proofing and Noise Barriers, Community Participation, Logging of Complaints and thier redressal, effective Regulatory Provisions, and extensive cooperation by all. Sensitization of all stakeholders that ultimately it impacts the airport business more than the businesses of locals. As such for we shall promote symbiotic business relationship as part of airport business strategies.

Most business surrounding airports exist to support the airport and airlines: gas stations, restaurants, medical clinics, etc. in fact more often there is (are) housing such as apartments, hotels, condos, etc. for most areas directly around the airport there is relatively little noise other than run ups, occasional disruptions from OSO etc. the areas most affected by aircraft noise are directly below the flight path of approaching and departing runways.
-
As for others opinions I like to add that other local businesses get affected by noise like restaurants, hotels and nearby residential societies. In the same business and colonies are dangerous for safety and security of the airport.

There are three ways that community stakeholders can help local companies who are worried about airport noise pollution: education, enforcement, and monitoring. First, businesses can better understand noise sources and methods for mitigation by participating in instructional programs like workshops. Second, progress is tracked, and improvement areas are identified through transparent reporting on decibel levels and frequent monitoring stations. Last but not least, responsibility from airport operators and airlines is ensured by clear standards with compliance checks and public announcements of infractions, creating a more tranquil atmosphere and boosting confidence among nearby companies.

Most airports, if not all, were there long before the business. The business need to address the noise issue when they establish their business and before opening their doors by installing any needed soundproofing materials and protect themselves as best they can. Newer aircraft are much quieter these days and that helps the situation too, but being near an airport will always create "airport noise"!
