Integrating Field surveying data with GIS analyais data is a Must. Within my experience I depend on gathering very important data from the field. It was updated and accurate enough to help me with GIS analysis at the office. The work flow should be : 1. Break down the project target into smaller, specific, measurable goals. 2. Consult stakeholders to align your objectives with their expectations. 3. Compile the field survey data and relevant GIS layers you have (satellite images, parcels, administrative layers). 4. Prioritize collecting and integrating data that will most impact the project's results. 5. Gather all data in a centralized database or GIS environment. 6. Finally, Find the best way to present and visualize.

For a vegetation health project, we focused on collecting data from high-priority areas affected by recent droughts. By concentrating on these areas first, we ensured that the analysis could begin with the most impactful data, giving us room to refine the rest as needed.

What i did, we prep workflow code with expected analysis outcome using sample/synthetic data first. From there, we can always improve better analysis time to time without worry on data streamline process.

The best approach is to plan accordingly. Some of the processes from data collection to GIS Analysis can be automated and this can ease the workload. That is the power of GIS.

My experience. 1. Make sure instruments are calibrated that are collecting data. Always have notes attached to points that can be indicators of accuracy and validation during mapping. 2. I always cloud the data immediately after collection with a proper naming method established at the begining of the projects. 3.when I was back at the lab, then it's validating and cleaning up the data. 4. Personally, I don't rush the analysis and I define REALISTIC GOALS to deliver. Rushing these types or any type of project is always going to have a low success rate. 5. As a scientist and research manager etc, I know all too well how things can go belly up when you try to juggle too many things. 6. I stand my ground or take their work somewhere else.

Judging with my extensive experience, I will employ use of mobile data collection tools that will collect project data as well as GIS data at same time ,examples of these tools are kobotoolbox and survey CTO.When designing electronic form for data collection ,I will add column that will collect GIS data ,this will make my work easier and smarter. Pour y parvenir : - planifiez et priorisez les données essentielles pour éviter les informations superflues ; - utilisez des outils comme ArcGIS Collector pour synchroniser les données en temps réel ; - alignez les sorties terrain avec les échéances d’analyse ; - automatisez le traitement des données pour gagner du temps ; - assurez la qualité en intégrant des contrôles lors de la collecte ; - favorisez la communication entre équipes terrain et analyse ; - prévoyez des marges pour gérer les imprévus. Une planification efficace et des outils adaptés garantissent des analyses SIG précises et ponctuelles
