Giving the benefit of the doubt when gut feeling pulls in a different direction tug at how interactions play out, and often, upon reflection, I wish I had gone with gut feel when the signs were there. Using polls to gain qualitative feedback on trust gives reasonable indications, mainly if they include pointed examples drawn from a broad spectrum, including touching on senior leaders.
